FRANC-OFF
This summer, experience the ultimate in Texas winemaking talent!
Don’t miss the Friesen Franc Off. The winemakers from Lost Draw Cellars, Ron Yates, Signor Vineyards, and William Chris Vineyards showcase their talents to make the best wine with Cabernet Franc grapes harvested from the exact same block of the legendary Friesen Vineyards.
Taste the difference that winemaking style makes as you sample four unique expressions of identical fruit. Compare how each winery's techniques create entirely different flavor profiles from the same stellar grapes. It's a rare chance to explore the pure artistry of winemaking with the vineyard variable completely controlled. Winemakers from all four wineries will pour their versions of the 2023 vintage Cabernet Franc at this event held on the great lawn in front of the Ron Yates winery.
WINERY CAMP OUT
Ron Yates has 10+ acres breathtaking hill country land behind the winery that is absolutely perfect for overnight wine parties. You're invited to set up your area for a weekend Winery Campout on our party land! Our first annual Winery Campout will include live music, a buffet-style dinner on Saturday night, food for purchase, and new wine releases. Guests will check in and receive wristbands that will allow them to come and go from the property as the need.

Tickets will be available soon and will include
camping fees, wine, and a buffet-style dinner
• RVs are welcome
• Boondocking sites will be available for an additional fee
• Free tent camping sites
• No personal fires
• Campers are invited to set up and camp as early as Friday, May 2 at 3pm
• Checkout for all campers is 11am on Sunday, May 4

Ready for a good time? Join us this weekend at Ron Yates for our Spring Wine Club bash in the Texas Hill Country! Sample our newest releases, groove to some awesome live music, and soak up those gorgeous vineyard vibes. Bring your friends, your thirst, and your good mood – we'll handle the rest. It's gonna be a blast!

PRE-TASTING!
We have a special opportunity for you to try an amazing new wine
straight from the barrel and compare it with wines made with Cabernet Franc grapes harvested at the exact same time, from the same block in the Friesen Cab Franc Vineyards. Taste the Ron Yates Cabernet Franc straight from the barrel, take your tasting notes, and then compare it with Cabernet Franc wines made by the winemakers at Hilmy, Lost Draw, and William Chris to see how different winemaking techniques make an imprint on the final taste. This is not a ticketed event open to club members and non-members, and everyone is invited to participate in this tasting event at each of the four wineries.
